Why this page exists: Too many people in the manufactured home world have been treated unfairly. We built Home Clarity to change that. These eight promises are not just words on a page — they shape everything we build and every decision we make.

The Right to Honest Information

We will always give you the full picture — even if it means pointing you away from something on our site. If a different lender or a different type of loan is better for you, we will tell you.

What this means in practice

Our tools will tell you when a lender on our site is not a great fit for you. We will never hide information just to protect a lender relationship.

The Right to Know All Costs

Before you sign anything, you should know exactly what a loan will cost — not just the monthly payment, but the total amount over the life of the loan. We will help you see the full picture.

Our calculators show you the total cost of a loan over its full life — not just the monthly number. We help you learn which questions to ask every lender before you move forward.

The Right to Know How We Make Money

You deserve to know exactly how we pay our bills. We charge lenders a flat monthly fee to be listed — we never get paid based on which lender you pick or whether your loan closes.

What this means in practice

Our full revenue model is published at homeclarity.house/how-we-make-money. The lenders you see are based on your needs, not on who pays us more.

The Right to Say No to Messages

You can stop hearing from us at any time. Unsubscribe from emails or reply STOP to texts. Opting out never takes away your access to any of our tools.

What this means in practice

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Every text has STOP instructions. If you opt out, you can still use all of our calculators and tools — no strings attached.

The Right to Know What Is Sponsored

If a lender paid for a spot on our site, we will tell you clearly. No hidden deals. No secret ads.

What this means in practice

Sponsored content is always labeled at the top — never buried in a footnote. If a lender paid for placement in an email, we label it "Paid Partnership." You will always know when money changed hands.

The Right to a Free Second Opinion

If you are not sure about something, we can connect you with a free housing counselor approved by the government. No cost. No pressure. Just someone who can give you another point of view.

What this means in practice

HUD-approved housing counselors are free and have no financial stake in your loan. If you want a second opinion from someone completely independent, just ask and we will connect you.

The Right to Your Own Data

Your information belongs to you. Ask us for a copy or ask us to delete it — we will do it within 30 days. We never sell your info to anyone.

What this means in practice

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at homeclarity.house/privacy-hub. We do not sell your information — not to lenders, not to anyone.

The Right to Call Us Out

If we ever break one of these promises, tell us. Email compliance@homeclarity.house and we will look into it within 5 business days.

What this means in practice

Use the subject line "Bill of Rights Concern" so we can prioritize it. We take every report seriously. If a lender on our site treated you unfairly, we will investigate — and if needed, remove them.
