What We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use our tools or submit a contact form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, and information about your home buying situation (credit range, income range, loan type interest). You control what you share — most tools work without providing any contact information.

Information collected automatically

Like all websites, we collect standard web analytics data: pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and IP address. This helps us understand how tools are being used and improve them. We use privacy-focused analytics and do not build individual behavioral profiles.

Information you never have to provide

You can use the Affordability Calculator, Cost Comparator, Loan Navigator, DPA Finder, and all other tools without providing your name, email, or phone number. Contact information is only requested if you want to receive results by email, be contacted by a lender, or receive follow-up guidance.

How We Use Your Information

To provide the services you requested

If you submit your contact information to receive a lender match or consultation, we use that information to fulfill the request — sending your Loan Navigator results, scheduling a session, or routing your inquiry.

To improve the platform

Aggregate, anonymized usage data helps us understand which tools are most helpful and where borrowers get confused. We never use individual user data for this purpose.

To communicate with you — only with your permission

We send email and SMS communications only to people who have explicitly opted in with a clearly checked consent box. We do not send marketing communications to anyone who has not affirmatively opted in.

We Never Sell Your Data

Home Clarity does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes. This includes the lenders listed on our platform. Lenders pay a flat platform fee for visibility — not for access to your contact information.

The only time your information reaches a lender is when you explicitly initiate contact with that lender through the platform — by clicking "Contact This Lender" or submitting an inquiry form directed to a specific lender. You control that moment.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing pixels, or any third-party tracking pixel that sends your data to an outside party for advertising purposes.

Your Privacy Rights

Right to Access

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time. We will respond within 30 days.

Right to Deletion

You can request that we delete all personal data associated with your email address or phone number. We will confirm deletion within 30 days. Note: we may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., TCPA consent records).

Right to Correction

If any information we hold about you is inaccurate, you can request that we correct it.

Right to Opt Out of Communications

Unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any email we send. Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any text message. Opt-out requests are processed within 24 hours.

Florida residents have additional rights under Florida's Digital Bill of Rights (HB 9B). Contact us at privacy@homeclarity.house with any Florida-specific privacy requests.
